User may search (unannotated)bioactivity and assay information using: compounds, targets, publications (default is compound), and add/edit existing annotations on the fly and submit them for review before they are added into the database. Autosuggest feature may help user to choose appropriate search item.

a.    Compounds

Users can search a compound by name or synonyms, standard inchikey or any of 26 IDs : Chembl, bindingdb, molport, surechembl, actor, nmrshiftdb2, chebi, hmdb, fdasrs, selleck, lincs, drugbank, nih_ncc, pharmgkb, ibm, nikkaji, pubchem, emolecules, zinc, recon, mcule, pubchem_dotf, gtopdb, pdb, pubchem_tpharma, kegg_ligand. Partial and exact searches are supportable for compound name or synonyms; while inchikey or IDs must have exact match.

b.    Targets

Target search can be made by target name, gene name and IDs : UniProtKB-AC, UniProtKB-ID, EMBL-CDS, Ensembl, PIR, PubMed, NCBI-taxon, Ensembl_TRS, MIM, UniGene, UniRef50, RefSeq, GO, PDB, UniParc, Additional_PubMed, EMBL, GI, GeneID, Chembl, UniRef100, UniRef90, Ensembl_PRO. Partial and exact searches are supportable for target name and gene name; while IDs must have exact match.

c.    Publications

User can also search assay and bioactivity information using ‘Pubmed ID’. We have data about 50,000 publications.
